South Health Calgary Campus

The South Health Campus (SHC) Project Team, and the South Health Campus Citizen Advisory Team (CAT), experienced some changes over the past year.

CAT now has a new liaison in the person of Joanne Ganton, who is Project manager for Partnerships and Citizen Engagement for the SHC, and is the coordinator for CAT.

CAT members enjoyed a lengthy tour of the SHC in October. It is an imposing edifice with so many differences in structure and presentation in comparison to existing facilities of the Alberta Health Services system.

Wayne Meikle and I were involved in the development of the renewed CAT Orientation Package. On Dec. 7, 2010, we made a presentation to the five new members who were welcomed to CAT. Along with these new Cat members, new Project Team members also attended what was our final meeting of 2010.
